This signed, limited edition print (1 of just 5) is from my original painting Roman Road, inspired by a remote, atmospheric stretch of the ancient road that winds through the Yorkshire Dales. The track leads the eye toward the horizon where Pen-y-Ghent sits quietly beneath a soft, clouded sky — a scene that continues to draw me back again and again.

I began this piece on location, working directly in the landscape with watercolour and chalk paint, capturing the immediate light, texture, and rhythm of the day. Back in the studio, I used acrylic to develop depth and tone, finishing the painting with the flowing, expressive lines that are central to my style. The result is a piece that blends spontaneity with reflection, and atmosphere with structure.

Each print is produced on Hahnemühle 310gsm etched paper, chosen for its beautiful texture and archival quality.
