View over Sharphaw is a signed, limited edition print (1 of only 5), capturing the sweeping view from the foothills above Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales. Painted on a clear, bright day, the composition leads the eye over patchwork fields and winding paths towards the gentle rise of Sharphaw. Layers of misty blue and soft earth tones convey depth and atmosphere, while delicate brushwork suggests the stillness of open countryside.

Created with watercolour and chalk paint on location, I aimed to express the shifting light and subtle textures of the Dales landscape. Back in the studio, I added layers of acrylic to enrich the tones and evoke the calm balance of sky and land. The print is produced on archival Hahnemühle 310gsm etched paper, preserving every fine mark and colour variation of the original.

Each print is signed, numbered, and delivered ready to frame — an ideal choice for collectors and those who love contemporary British landscape art with a serene, reflective mood.
