View from Windy Fell is a signed, limited edition print (1 of just 5), taken from my original painting looking across the Eden Valley toward the distant peaks from the quiet heights of Windy Fell. A solitary car travels along a remote stretch of road, anchoring the scene with a fleeting human presence against a backdrop of space, movement, and air.

This piece captures one of those moments I love—where wildness meets stillness. In the foreground, I used splashes of paint and layered marks to reflect the textured grasses and stone, while the expressive sky stretches above, filled with energy and shifting light.

I worked with watercolour and chalk paint on location, responding to the immediate feel of the land, then developed the final composition in the studio with acrylic, adding depth, structure, and the fluid lines that characterise my work.

Printed on Hahnemühle 310gsm etched paper, the edition preserves the original’s softness, contrast, and painterly expression. Each print is signed, numbered, and comes ready to frame.
