Steam Train Over Ribblehead is a signed, limited edition print (1 of only 5) taken from my original painting of a steam train crossing the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct in the Yorkshire Dales. It's early summer, and the sun lights up the landscape — swathes of straw-like grasses ripple across the fields, while steam drifts into the sky, blending into soft clouds above the viaduct’s arches.

This piece was created in response to a real moment I witnessed and sketched in the landscape. I used watercolour and chalk paint outdoors to capture the light and movement, and finished the piece in my studio with acrylic, building in my signature free-flowing expressive mark-making. The result is a vibrant, contemporary take on a classic British scene, full of warmth, energy, and open space.

Printed on Hahnemühle 310gsm etched paper to preserve the texture and subtle tonal variations of the original, each print is signed, numbered, and delivered ready to frame.
