A Special Commission Finds Its New Home

One of the most rewarding parts of being an artist is the moment a commissioned piece leaves the studio and finds its way into the hands of the person it was made for. Recently, I had the pleasure of handing over a custom piece to a wonderful client — and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience.

This particular commission was a beautiful collaboration from the beginning. From our initial conversation to the final touches, every step was guided by their ideas, vision, and trust in my creative process. It’s always an honour to be chosen to create something so personal, and seeing their reaction in person made all the long hours and careful details worth it.

There’s something uniquely powerful about custom art — it’s not just decoration; it’s a story, a feeling, a memory or place painted soukfully in a way that’s truly one of a kind. This piece now lives in a space where it belongs, and I’m thrilled to know it will be part of their everyday life.
